Stockholm Drone Teknik AB offers practical drone training for private individuals, beginners and companies that want to learn how to use drones in a safe, structured and professional way. The courses can be adapted to different levels and needs, from basic theory before the official drone certificate to practical flight training, mapping, photogrammetry, inspection, Metashape, Dronelink, Emlid and DJI systems.
For those who want to start flying drones, we offer a clear and practical introduction. You get help understanding rules, safety, planning and what you need to know before moving on to Transportstyrelsen’s official training and test for drone certificates.
For companies, we offer more technical training and workshops where drones are used as a professional tool within construction, real estate, inspection, documentation, mapping and photogrammetry. In these courses, the focus is on practical workflows, data collection, quality, software and how drone data can be used in real projects.
After completing a course, participants can receive a course certificate showing the content and scope of the training. Our courses do not replace Transportstyrelsen’s official drone certificate or any required training within the specific category, but they work as practical support, preparation and professional skills development.
Our Drone Training Courses
We offer several types of drone training depending on level, goal and area of use. Some courses are suitable for beginners who want to get started in the right way, while others are adapted for companies that want to use drones in practical workflows within construction, inspection, mapping, photogrammetry or technical documentation.
The training can be carried out remotely, on site with us or directly at a company that wants to train its staff in its own working environment. For companies, the content can be adapted to existing equipment, industry, work tasks and the types of drone assignments the staff will carry out.

Course: Drone Inspection
Learn how drones can be used for professional inspections of roofs, façades, solar panel installations, buildings and technical environments. The course gives you a practical understanding of planning, safety, image collection, documentation and delivery of inspection assignments.
You also get an introduction to equipment, workflows, customer communication and how inspection material can be used to identify damage, defects and maintenance needs.

Course: Drone Mapping and Photogrammetry
Learn how drones can be used for professional mapping, photogrammetry and technical data collection. The course gives you a practical walkthrough of the full workflow, from flight planning and image collection to processing, orthophotos, point clouds and delivery of finished material.
The main focus is Agisoft Metashape. Pix4D and DJI Terra can also be reviewed if needed or requested. During the course, we also go through a basic understanding of SWEREF 99 and RH 2000, RTK/GCP, checkpoints, point cloud classification and volume calculations.

Get a practical introduction to how LiDAR with drones can be used to collect, process and deliver 3D data from terrain, vegetation, buildings and technical environments. The course is suitable for those who want to understand the basics of the LiDAR workflow and how point clouds can be used in professional assignments.
We go through planning, data collection, basic handling of LAS/LAZ files, point clouds, simple classification, terrain models and delivery of material to the customer. The focus is on a practical and realistic workflow, not advanced geodesy or deep technical specialist level.

Course: DJI, Metashape and Drone Data Workflows
Learn how to work more efficiently with software and digital workflows for professional drone assignments. The course focuses on how data from drone flights is planned, handled, structured, processed and delivered in a professional way.
We go through practical workflows in DJI Pilot 2, Agisoft Metashape and, when needed, DJI Terra or Pix4D. We can also review route planning with Dronelink for assignments where structured image collection, overlap and repeatable flights are important.
The course is suitable for those who want better control over project structure, flight planning, image import, processing, export, delivery folders and common errors that can occur when handling drone data.
